Christopher and his specialist team have developed wide food industry experience, a broad range of
influential media contacts and strong relationships with food writers, features editors and journalists
across all media.
Food Marketing Ltd has sourced a proven range of cost efficient contractors for specific client
projects including visual design, website construction and hosting, photography, food styling and
printing. We use an accredited advertising agency for media research, analysis and specialist bookings
such as television.
Food Marketing Ltd is accredited to book most media and has ongoing monthly media monitoring services
in New Zealand and Australia.
Christopher has 20 years experience in advertising, sales, marketing, and public relations roles; the
last six years as a business owner. A graduate of AUT Graphic Design School Christopher started out in
design, progressing into account management, product management and strategic corporate marketing roles;
later retraining in broadcasting, writing and public relations skills.
Lesley is a food writer with a history in food research and tertiary education. Working as a Senior
Lecturer at AUT’s School of Hospitality, she co-authored the current national chef-training textbook
The New Zealand Chef (Hospitality Press 2002), now in its second edition (2007). Lesley is also
the author of the very successful The NZ Cook’s Bible (Penguin 2010). Lesley specialises in
researching and writing website text and recipe development. With Food Marketing Ltd Lesley focuses on
Public Relations and editing.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Communications Studies from AUT University and experience as a creative writer
in advertising, design and web-interactive. He has worked on brands such as Vodafone, Tip Top, Ford New
Zealand, Air New Zealand and Kellogg’s. Jamie first joined Food Marketing as a writer in January 2009 to
create client advertising concepts, website text and to work in public relations in a junior-intermediate
role. His role has expanded to include new business account management.
Victoria is office manager and responsible for computer support, accounts and company reporting.
Having grown up with a mother with a home science degree, Victoria has a strong interest in food and
nutrition and is a keen cook and foodie.
